The US, Canada, and Puerto Rico Tour of Toy Story presented me with my most challenging tour to date. Horribly maintained equipment, a crew who didn't get along, and just generally a group of people I didn't really like made for a pretty bad time. The tour itself was strange as well. Although we spent almost the entire tour in the northeast, we jumped over to the west coast for four cities. For the portions of the tour I was not on (while I was on Snow White), the tour jumped from north to south and back north for weeks at a time.
I was head electrician of the tour for a brief period, but went back to assistant later for reasons I'm not really sure of. Could have been because I was scheduled to go on another tour before this one was over. Could be because the guy I replaced (who became my assistant) was a little seedy, had the company manager wrapped around his finger, and used that to his benefit. I don't know. What I do know is when the guy took back over as head electrician, we had work calls all day, every day.
Due to the number of work calls on this tour, I never wrote my journals. I have also almost blanked this entire tour out of my memory, so I don't have anything to write about it now! Therefore, the schedule below is just a listing of cities. They do not link to anything. The cities in grey were part of the tour, but I was not there for those cities.
