I returned to Jungle Adventures after doing a few other shows to act as head electrician of it's small-town US Tour. In no uncertain terms, this was probably the most stressful, unhappy stretch of my life!
This was the show I helped build from the ground up and maintain flawlessly two years previous. But, during the time I was off on other shows, the crew who took over the show had let the entire thing fall apart. When I returned in the fall of 2002, almost every single moving light was non-operational and much of the other equipment had fallen into disrepair. This meant weeks and weeks of repair time before the tour even went out, then constant upkeep once the tour was out. In fact, things were falling apart at such a rate that the three of us backstage repairing during the show simply could not keep up.
Because of the enormous amount of time I spent trying to keep the show running, I never had time to do anything else. No time to write journals, and nothing to even write about, as I was so tired at the end of every show that I just went to bed, and rarely went out sightseeing with my fiancee. So the schedule below is not linked to anything, it is just a tour schedule.
