Jungle Adventures was the first show I had an opportunity to build from the first data cable to the final piece of truss. The head electrician and I worked together endlessly to make sure that every detail was well taken care of to create one of the easiest shows to put together. It was needed because this was also the largest ice show which had been put out to date! The experience gained from having to figure out every plug, every cable length, every lighting location and more was incredible. Having to this point only inherited beat-up shows, I was glad to get to put one together myself, and with a great team, and know that I would be maintaining a lot of it!
I stayed with this show for it's debut European Tour from May of 2000 until April of 2001 as the Wholehog operator and moving light tech, then returned in September 2002, after having done a few other tours, to serve as head electrician of it's small-town US tour.
The US tour of Jungle Adventures was my final tour with Disney on Ice. While I won't go into detail, I will just say that it was time to move on to bigger and better things.
Each of the links below will open a page which shows the details for each tour, as well as photos and technical info for those so interested!
