Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Joseph was my first professional programming gig as a freelancer (I had programmed under the veil of my employers). There were definitely some great learning experiences, with the big LED pyramid being one of them.

I started off hired simply as the programmer for the show, but then took on the position of Assistant Lighting Designer when the previous one had taken on a design job himself and could not go on. I received the first bit of info, a basic plot and preliminary shop list, in early May 2005 (right as I started installing the Tutankhamun exhibit. I didn't get a whole lot of info for a while, so I didn't start getting plots done until the beginning of June.

By late July, all plots had been done, and I had pre-programmed much of the console to save time on site. The show started loading in in mid August, and by the last week of August, we were hard-core into programming the show. It was definitely stressful, as everyone involved had different opinions about how each scene should look, but in the end we had a pretty exciting show.
