In September of 2006, almost a year after the first Joseph, I returned to program the "re-mount" of the show. The show was being scaled down and rebuilt to work better as a one-nighter tour. The challenge was to get the same effect lighting-wise with far less equipment.
In the process, the entire 45-PAR wash was cut in favor of nine MAC 2000 Wash units. Two electrics were combined into one. Deck movers were changed to PARs with scrollers. Booms were reconfigured and scaled down. This meant quite a bit of reprogramming work to make the new show look like the old show as much as possible. This meant stepping through the old showfile and keeping track of what units were in what colors and focuses, and translating this to the new types of units. It was quite an interesting endeavor.
