Being a lighting tech on theatre and arena tours involves a lot of travelling. In fact, almost all of my time is spent on the road in a different city each week or two. I started in September of 1997 with Feld Entertainment's Disney on Ice. In February of 2003, I left Disney on Ice and started working on Troika Entertainment's National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express.
In the time I toured, I was on 7 shows, for 10 tours, in 156 separate cities! 49 of those cities were played on 2 or 3 different tours, for a total of 205 tour stops. Those 156 cities have been in 19 countries on four continents (North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia). I don't even want to fathom the number of performances that I have run!

On many tours, you will find journals for each city where you will find some funny, some not-so-funny, and some downright annoying ramblings of my life on tour.
